Demon Slayer: Inosuke is Smarter than you Think

Inosuke Hashibira

Inosuke Hashibira of Demon Slayer is smarter than he already was in season 1. After the beginning of Season 2, the beast breather is showing signs of acting smartly.

When we think of a smart character in Demon Slayer, what comes to our mind?

Tanjiro? Giyu?

What about Inosuke?

Inosuke has got potential

Demon Slayer Entertainment Light District arc has given the spotlight to Uzui Tengen, the flamboyant king and Daki, the upper rank 6. But people should take the focus of their beautiful eyes on Inosuke as he seems a different character in this arc.

I tell you, people are sleeping on Inosuke. Well, some have already acknowledged the smartness of his character, but most of them just ignored it!

This wild boar head has a big brain that we only got a glimpse back in season 1 where he used his senses to locate the spider demon.

But in season 2, the sharp mind of Inosuke is greatly explored.

How has inosuke changed?

This wild and energetic lunatic used his big brains in episodes 3 and 4 of Demon Slayer Entertainment Light District to help locate the demon hiding in one of the houses.

Even Gonpachiro (Tanjiro) was clueless regarding the location of the demon. And when Inosuke told him that the demon was in his house, Gonpachiro didn’t believe him fully.

Man! We know that you (Tanjiro) are the main character, but show Inosuke some respect.

He even used his hand to check his demon slayer ranking. Gonpachiro had no idea about that!

Earlier in the season, we saw Inosuke having a monologue of his own! That is extremely strange for a character like him.

Tell me in the comments, what do you think?

Inosuke in season 1

Every time Inosuke is mentioned, you have this idea of a strange shirtless wild boar head running madly towards a target with a couple of swords in his hands looking to destroy everything that comes in his way.

But this new arc will change this perception forever.

People still think that Inosuke is some weird, shameless and foolish guy who has got more brawn than brain. Honestly, I don’t blame anyone as after watching season 1 of Demon Slayer, I had the same perception too.

In those episodes, Inosuke and tactics didn’t really come together except one time.

During the forest scene, when Tanjiro and Inosuke were trying to locate the spider demon who was controlling the lower-ranked demon slayers with the webs, Inosuke threw Tanjiro and was able to land straight at the location of the demon.

How cool was that!

Conclusion

This position sums up Inosuke in season 2

Season 2 is bound to make the viewers of Demon Slayer feel something more about Inosuke.

I hope their views change after seeing him acting tactically. It seems not just Gonpachiro, but Inosuke has also jumped on the bandwagon of using brains while fighting.

I don’t think there is any person in this world who doesn’t like Inosuke. There might be some who don’t like Gonapachiro or Zenitsu, but not liking Inosuke is a crime! (Just kidding)

With all this screen time in season 2, Hashibira Inosuke deserves a bigger recognition than he already gets.

Do you know who else deserves a bigger recognition?
